P.M. Ian Swinton Open/Terry McHugh Solo Piping Final

Now that the Terry McHugh Memorial Regionals are completed, let's look ahead to the MWPBA Day of Piping on April 21 at the Park Ridge Community Church in Park Ridge, IL:

The individuals who played in the regional qualifiers and are eligible to play in the finals will be contacted by our president, Jim Sim, to inquire if they plan to play at the event.

That same day will be the P.M. Ian Swinton Professional Contest; the judges this year are Jack Lee from Vancouver, and Jim Stack from New Jersey. This contest is still open for entries for another month; the deadline is April 8, 2018.

Orders of play for these events will be published in early April.

We hope to see many of you on April 21st in Park Ridge, IL for the MWPBA Day of Piping. It should be a great day.

2018 Milwaukee Regional Piping Solos Results

The 2018 Milwaukee Regional Piping Solos have been completed, and the results are posted.

The top 3 contestants in each grade are eligible to compete in the Terry McHugh Memorial Solo Piping Contest, taking place on April 21, 2018 in Park Ridge, IL, and have already been enrolled.

MWPBA Code of Conduct

As discussed during the AGM, the MWPBA Board has published a Code of Conduct. The MWPBA holds individual members, band members, judges, stewards, and other volunteers to these same standards of behavior during their participation in MWPBA events.

Everybody is strongly encouraged to familiarize themselves with this short document. Thanks, all.

The 2018 Louisville Regional Piping Solos have been completed, and the results are posted. Thank you to everyone whom attended and made the event a success!

2018 Regular Season Solo Contest Form Open

The 2018 Regular Season Contest Entry Form is now available; it's available through the CONTESTS Tab at the top of the page, or follow this link:

Also available is the Band Roster Management Form for 2018. You must use your ID that was sent via email to all registered band managers in 2017. To manage your band's roster, login to the website (available in the top-left corner) and navigate to the BANDS tab at the top of the page. You'll see the link available underneath it. If you haven't signed in, you won't see the link. The due date for roster entry is March 31, 2018.
