Chicago 2023 Logistics Notes

Since we have so many bands at the Chicago Games, here are some things that some people may have questions about

Band Tent set up starts at 12:00 noon on Friday June 16 and not before.
All soloists and any accompanists must wear highland uniform including a hat
Grade 4 & 5 will be starting between 8:30 and 9:00 in the morning. The Grade 4 & 5 Band Meeting will be on Friday Afternoon and the Grade 3 & 2 & 1 Band Meeting will be on Saturday Morning. PLEASE have a representative at the Meeting.
There are NO early massed bands. Only the closing Massed Bands.
If you are playing in the solos or on a band roster, your name will be at the gate entrance to get in. There are NO wrist Bands or Tickets.
There is NO Concert Formation this year. All contests will be the march into a traditional circle.
It is very important that everyone is on time for their solo or band event. It will be a tight schedule. There are 47 bands and over 500 solos so everyone must be on time.
