MWPBA 2017 AGM Minutes now available

The MWPBA 2017 Annual General Meeting was held on November 4, 2017.

The (unapproved) Minutes of the meeting are now available.

Thank you to all who participated in person and via the live-stream for a very productive and informative meeting!

The Financial Report is not published here, but any member may request a copy from the Secretary-Treasurer.

Season 2018 Band and Solo Regrade forms are now available!

If you or your band would like to regrade for the 2018 season, please complete the Band or Solo Regrade Petition forms that are now available.

Regrades will be announced at the AGM, so submit your form soon to be considered in time. Of course, regrade petitions will be accepted through March 31, but now is the time if you want to bask in the glory of being lauded at the AGM!

(Membership forms, etc., for 2018 are not yet available, pending any potential changes that may be decided at the AGM.)

MWPBA website has been upgraded

The MWPBA website been upgraded to the latest versions of underlying packages. This brings additional security features to the site, a responsive layout, and an easier to maintain structure.

This was also a good time to revamp the layout. The vast majority of previous content has been retained, where still relevant. Some things have definitely moved around, but it should be able to find everything more consistently now.

2017 Champions Supreme Standings

The 2017 MWPBA Champions Supreme points standings have been tallied.

* 2017 Champion Supreme BAND standings

The latest updates are from October 9, 12:26 p.m. (CDT), which includes the St. Louis Scottish Games and Cultural Festival (September 28 & 29, 2017). The previously omitted updates from Solo Piping, G4 Piobaireachd, are now included. Band standings remain unchanged.

The standings are still unofficial, and pending ratification before official announcement of the 2017 MWPBA Champions Supreme at the end of the season. Champion Supreme points are earned only by registered MWPBA members.
