2021 AGM Minutes

Here is the agenda & minutes for the 2021 MWPBA Annual General Meeting (AGM).

Alma and Chicago games are back for 2022!

Just a heads-up that the Alma MI and Chicago IL Games are officially ON FOR 2022!!!

Alma will be held on May 28-29 and Chicago will be held on June 17-18. Locations and playing requirements will be the same as 2019. Hotel, entry info and other information will be released shortly.

Hope to see you and your band there!

New Massed Band Snare, Tenor, and Bass Drum Scores for 2022

The Alliance of North American Pipe Band Associations (ANAPBA) has adopted new massed band scores for all drummers for the 2022 season. These scores are set up so drummers of all levels will be able to play them and they can be used as an early score for new drummers to help with their development.

The MWPBA will be sending out a video of the scores being played to help everyone with the learning of these scores. The video will be out in early January.

These are the scores that will be used at ALL MWPBA massed band events in 2022 and going forward. Please take the time to learn these scores.

Band and Soloist Registration for 2022 now open!

In anticipation of a "regular" games season, registration and re-grade forms are now available for season 2022. All bands and soloists are required to re-register for 2022 - there are no carry-over registrations.

The "early-bird" registration at the discounted rate is by January 31 for bands, and by March 31 for soloists. Re-grade forms will only be considered if submitted by March 31.

Band roster management forms will be available early in 2022, if not before. Hang tight.

2021 Champions Supreme Standings

The 2021 MWPBA Champions Supreme points standings have been tallied.

The latest updates are from September 4, which includes the Wisconsin Scottish Pipe Band Contest, held in Delafield, WI.

The standings are still unofficial, and pending ratification before official announcement of the 2021 MWPBA Champions Supreme at the end of the season. Champion Supreme points are earned only by registered MWPBA members.
