Band and solo registration forms for the 2017 season are now available, along with regrade petition forms.
The Regional Solo Form is also now open, but only for the Winter Storm Grade 4 (Junior & Senior) Piping Events only! If you are in Grade 3 or higher, please register through the Winter Storm website. Other Regional Piping Events will be added as the locations and dates are determined.
Please note that to compete at Winter Storm, all entrants must be Association members for 2017 (MWPBA, or otherwise).
A reminder to everyone that the 20th annual George Sherriff Memorial Invitational Competition is happening this weekend in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Fellow MWPBA member & piping competitor Christian Rhoads has been invited and will be competing. He placed 3rd overall in this event in 2015; good luck to Christian.

The preliminary minutes of the 2016 MWPBA AGM held on November 5th are now available here. These minutes remain preliminary pending approval at the 2017 AGM. A number of modifications to The Rules were approved at the AGM, as captured in the minutes. These changes can be seen in the 2017 MWPBA Rules and Regulations.
The MWPBA 2016 Annual General Meeting will be held on November 5, 2016 at 1:00pm at The Scottish Home, 28th & Des Plaines Ave., North Riverside, IL.
All are welcome and encouraged to attend, and all bands should ensure that they are represented, either in person, or online via the web broadcast To view the broadcast, login to Ustream and view the MWPBA Channel. Get online a few minutes early to get set up.
If you are a voting band representative and you will be voting during the MWPBA, you will need to login to UStream so that you can cast votes by private chat. Anonymous users can still chat but will be unable to vote. For the seminar, anonymous is fine if you prefer.
