A quick reminder that entries are open for all Regional Solo Qualifiers (except Kansas City, which has past its deadline) for pipers only:
These contests are open to all Amateur Grades in light music piping. The top 3 available qualifiers in each GRADE (not event) will qualify to play at the Terry McHugh Memorial Solo Piping Event to be held in Palatine, IL on April 1, 2017. This is a change from prior years, and should ensure a competitive contest for each grade.
The MWPBA is pleased to announce that The Pipe Major Ian Swinton Open Professional Solo Piping Contest date and registration are now available. Registration is $25.00 (USD), and open to all professional pipers.The event will be held on April 1 at the Presbyterian Church of Palatine, in Palatine, IL. The church is located at 800 E. Palatine Rd., Palatine, IL, and is a short distance from O'Hare airport.

Band and solo registration forms for the 2017 season are now available, along with regrade petition forms.
The Regional Solo Form is also now open, but only for the Winter Storm Grade 4 (Junior & Senior) Piping Events only! If you are in Grade 3 or higher, please register through the Winter Storm website. Other Regional Piping Events will be added as the locations and dates are determined.
Please note that to compete at Winter Storm, all entrants must be Association members for 2017 (MWPBA, or otherwise).
