2017 Kansas City Regional Piping Solos Results

The 2017 Kansas City Regional Piping Solos have been completed, and the results are below:

 

Grade 1:

1st-Caleb Thibodeau, 2nd-Steven MacDonald, 3rd-Laureano Thomas-Sanchez

 

Grade 2:

1st-Jack O'Connell, 2nd-Filemon Tan, 3rd-Charles Morris

 

Grade 3:

1st-Thomas Sapleton, 2nd-Linda Robertson, 3rd-Hayden Faucett

 

Grade 4 Senior:

1st-Matthew Morrison, 2nd-Kristina Rodgers

 

Grade 4 Junior:

1st-Mark MacPhee, 2nd-Ryan Lett

 

These individuals are eligible to compete in the Terry McHugh Memorial Solo Piping Contest, taking place on April 1, 2017 in Palatine, IL, and have already been enrolled.

 

2016 Champions Supreme Standings

The 2016 MWPBA Champions Supreme points standings have been tallied.

The latest updates are from September 29, which includes the St. Louis Scottish Games and Cultural Festival.

The standings are still unofficial, and pending ratification before official announcement of the 2016 MWPBA Champions Supreme at the end of the season.

 

2016 St Louis Highland Games results

The results of the MWPBA band and solo contests at the 2016 St Louis Scottish Games and Cultural Festival on Saturday September 24 are now available (band results, solo results).

The band results summary is as follows:

Grade 4 Medley (2) : 1. St Louis Caledonian Pipe Band (BDC, BBS)  2. St Andrews Society of Central IL Pipes and Drums

Grade 5 QMM (1) : 1. Celtic Cross Pipes and Drums (BDC, BBS)

 

2016 Central Kentucky Results

The results of the MWPBA solo contests at the Central Kentucky Celtic Festival and Highland Games in Eminence, KY on Saturday September 17, 2016 are now available.

Pipers of the Day were provided gifts by the Scottish Trading Company, and are as follows:
Sr. Novice: Joseph Jones
Grade 4: Egan Dickerson (whom also received the Al Smith Award from the Louisville Scottish Society, which has presented this award for many years).
Grade 3: Jacob Schrader
Grade 1: Scott McCawley

Columbus Highland Games 2016 Results

The results of the MWPBA band and solo contests at the 25th Annual Columbus Scottish Festival and Highland Game at Columbus, IN on Saturday, September 10, 2016 are now available (band results, solo results).
