Terry McHugh Memorial Solo Piping Contest MWPBA Solos 2023 Entry Form

• The Terry McHugh Memorial Amateur Solo Piping Contest is on March 25, 2023, in Park Ridge, near Chicago.
• There are no regional qualifier contests; the contest may be entered directly.
• The cost to enter each event is $11.00 USD. The on-time entry deadline is the Sunday 2 weeks before the contest, with a grace period of 1 week for late entrants, for which a late fee of $10.00 will be assessed.
• No refund of entry fees will be made for events entered but not competed in unless the event is cancelled.
• Contest entry is open to current solo members of the MWPBA and other associations within ANAPBA with reciprocal membership agreement.
• Address all questions on the contest to MWPBA President Jim Sim.
• Current MWPBA contest rules apply.   Grade 2 and Grade 3 piping ties will be broken by 2/4 March result.
• In each event, the competitor may play selections of their choosing, and need only submit 1.
• All tunes must be 4-parted.  (Grade 5 player have the option of playing 4 parts of 2/4 march, rather than a single 4-parted 2/4 march.)
